  8.          1.. Revised the Summary screen and Print Summary function to
  9.              include Low (best) 18 hole score and High (worst) 18
  10.              hole score.  These scores will only show on the Summary
  11.              screen and the printed Summary report IF the following
  12.              conditions exist:

  14.                   A. The Golfer selected has a minimum of 2 or more
  15.                      full 18 hole games recorded in the database.
  16.  
  17.                   B. The 2 or more games for the Golfer selected must
  18.                      have different scores.

  20.          2.. Revised code to require a Golfer to have a minimum of
  21.              ten (10) full 18 hole games recorded in the database
  22.              before a Handicap Index can be figured.  Heretofore, it
  23.              was only required that the selected Golfer have a minimum
  24.              of 10 games saved irregardless if they were 9 or 18 hole
  25.              games.  Now, at least 10 of the games MUST be full 18 hole
  26.              games.

  33.          1.. For those of you who like to bet money on your golf games,
  34.              two new prompts have been added to the Add Game option.
  35.              They are "Money Won" and "Money Lost".  When you see the
  36.              "Money Won" prompt, either enter the amount won or if you
  37.              lost money, press <Enter> and you will get the "Money Lost"
  38.              prompt.  If you neither won nor lost money, press <Enter>
  39.              at the "Money Won" prompt then press <Enter> again at the
  40.              "Money Lost" prompt.  If you had more than one wager going
  41.              with other playing partners and you won on one wager and
  42.              lost on another, then enter the amount won from the wager
  43.              that was won at the "Money Won" prompt then enter the amount
  44.              lost on the other wager at the "Money Lost" prompt.
  45.              By pressing <Enter> at each of these prompts without entering
  46.              an amount, a zero is placed in each record for the amount
  47.              won or lost.  DO NOT enter a negative amount in the "Money
  48.              Won" field such as -5.00 (meaning you lost $5.00).  Simply
  49.              don't enter any amount and press <Enter> to get the "Money
  50.              Lost" prompt.  If you didn't lose any money, press <Enter>
  51.              without entering any amount to get to the next prompt.

  53.          2.. Added the necessary code to show the amount won or lost for
  54.              each Game Record recorded.  When GolfLog reads the game
  55.              record datafile and sees that it's a record from a prior
  56.              version of GolfLog (v8.0 thru v8.1e) it will show that no
  57.              won/lost amount was recorded for that record.  This same
  58.              information will show up in the printed Game record.

  60.          3.. Added the necessary code to show the amount the Golfer is
  61.              either wining or losing by on the Summary Screen and printed
  62.              Summary Record.  This is a cumulative amount with the amount
  63.              lost subtracted from the amount won.  If the Golfer has lost
  64.              more than he/she has won, the amount lost will reflect total
  65.              winings subtracted from the total losses.  As an example, if
  66.              the Golfer has lost $15.00 over several games and won $8.50
  67.              over several more, the amount in the Summary Record will be
  68.              shown as a $6.50 loss for the cumulative figure.  The total
  69.              amount won (if winnings exceed losses) not counting any
  70.              losses is shown also.  If losses exceed winnings, the total
  71.              amount lost not counting any winnings will be shown along
  72.              with the amount lost.

  74.          4.. Modified some of the coding to try and cause it to use less
  75.              memory when running.  GolfLog is not a memory hog but every
  76.              attempt is made each revision to tweak the memory requirements
  77.              and cause it to use even less.

  79.          5.. Fixed a bug that sometimes caused GolfLog not to close all
  80.              its open files when returning to the Main Menu.  If you've
  81.              ever deleted a record and when returning to the Main Menu,
  82.              GolfLog quit running and exited with an error message, this
  83.              was the cause.  Hopefully this is fixed and won't happen
  84.              again!

  269.          GolfLog will run best if you run the proper version according
  270.          to the type machine you have.  If you have a 386 or 486 machine
  271.          then always run the 386 version (GOLF_386.COM) rather than the
  272.          XT or 286 version.  Also, it's a lot easier to select the version
  273.          you plan to use then rename that copy to GOLFLOG.COM using the
  274.          DOS "RENAME" command as in "RENAME GOLF_386.COM GOLFLOG.COM"

  282.          must start over from the beginning and add new Game and Course
  283.          Records as v8.0, thru v8.1d WILL NOT read the datafiles that
  284.          were created by the earlier versions (v1.0 - v7.8).
